A website for easy recipes that everyone can enjoy
Following recipes shouldn't be hard, we shouldn't have to scroll past an essay or have tonnes of ads and popups. We just want the recipe!
When designing and creating Cheese on Toast I wanted to make a place where it's easy for users to follow recipes, without distractions.
I removed all the additional items that other recipe websites had; social sharing, annoyingly long essays before the recipe, excessive images, FAQs, author bios... the list goes on.
One of the main drivers was creating a place where I could save recipes me and my partner were making and make them easily sharable with friends and family.
